Absorbs-All is the only product of its kind made from natural pozzolan. Pozzolan contains billions of minute diatoms. These diatoms have strong lightweight internal frameworks with maximum void space and surface area for excellent absorption and surface area. This material has such a high surface area and volume that less than half a pound has a surface area equal to a football field (45,000 square feet).

Additionally, when pozzolan undergoes a process called calcination, it creates a microscopic structure of as much as 60 million pores per cubic inch, improving its ability to absorb.
