Boulder Country Club Greens Renovation Ralston
Valley High School:
Prior to renovation.
Pozzolan
filled channels were installed parallel to the slope of the green to
enhance drainage.
Using
the Blec Sandmaster, employees of Hartman Companies applied approximately
three tons of Lassenite Pozzolan to each putting green.
A header trench containing a slotted pipe surrounded by Pozzolan was installed to assist in evacuating water away from the green.
After
the installation of the channels, the green was thoroughly aerated,
topdressed and rolled. Once turf was allowed to "heal" for a
few days the renovated green was ready for play.
